Dr. Benjamin Jordan
Dr. Benjamin Slader Jordan was born and raised in northern Alabama. Dr. Jordan found his passion for dentistry during college as he discovered that dentistry was a perfect combination of the things he enjoys most about life: combining art and science into one field, working with his hands, and helping others. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) with a BA in Music and a BS in Biology. He then completed a master's degree in Biomedical Health Science at UAB.
Dr. Jordan earned his doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Jordan strives to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for his patients to facilitate clarity, patient satisfaction, and a path to optimal oral health. In order to provide treatment in a safe, effective, and patient-focused manner, Dr. Jordan stays up to date with all the latest advancements in the field of dentistry, such as digital radiographs, CAD/CAM scanning, intra-oral photography, laser debridement therapy, implant restorations, and surgical dentistry. He enjoys much of the scope of dentistry, such as performing restorative dentistry like fillings, crowns, or bridges, root canal therapy, implant placement and restorations, periodontal laser debridement, and surgical extractions with bone grafting.
In his free time, Dr. Jordan is an avid musician and enjoys playing and writing music. His primary instrument is guitar, but he dabbles in “anything that makes noise”. Dr. Jordan also enjoys staying active and spending time weightlifting, traveling, studying philosophy and history, cooking, brewing beer/tea/coffee, going to concerts, and collecting vinyl records.
